Come to a place that actually cares about your well being. We like to think of ourselves as a healthcare facility without the nursing home feel or look. Some of our residents have been with us for 20 years!
Here you are not just a number, but you are family. We have steak cookouts and the summer, and you can come and go as you please. We want to provide a safe, fun, and supporting environment for you to live and thrive in.
All rooms are semi private which we find creates a peer to peer support network. You will not be alone, you will always have someone to talk to and support you,
Our Mission & Vision
At Penny Lane our vision and mission is to provde safe affordable housing
Penny Lane is one of the oldest rest homes in the state, open since 1940. Its only 26 beds so your not lost in the crowd. We are selective in who resides here so you can be assured that you will be living with quality individuals who respect one another.
What To ExpectPricing, Food, Amenities
all rooms are semi-private, which is a great thing, someone to talk to so you won’t be alone all day. Smoking is allowed but not in the building. Here you are not paying for chandeliers, a good honest price $99 dollars a day. We accept MassHealth, Medicare, Medicaid, and of course V.A. We also have a nurse on staff.
All meals are made from scratch. There’s a dietician to oversee all diets. upon admission, the residents tell us their likes or dislikes, and we cater the meals to their liking and dietary needs.
The Home itself is 110 years old and has a family atmosphere. Laundry is a free service. We handle and monitor all medications
Lets get started.
First you should call us and set up an in person visit of the facility where you can see all the things we are talking about, we can then access if you are a good fit, set up payment details whether through insurance or private payment, and bring you to a place you can call home.
